RAYONG, Thailand — TotalEnergies Corbion, producers of Luminy® PLA, has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative, committing to ten principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The UN Global Compact aims to align businesses with sustainability principles and accelerate the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). TotalEnergies Corbion’s CEO, Thomas Philipon, states, “Joining the Global Compact Initiative is very natural step for us as it is both in line with our values and the business model we are developing". He continues, “it makes a clear statement to our stakeholders and the broader general public. We are developing everyday sustainable solutions in collaboration with our partners through the value chain and it is critical to be transparent around the progresses we are making together."
